Renegade Studio
Renegade Studio builds digital products from real-world frustration, practical experience and the belief that useful things should feel simpler.
Education, sport, wellbeing and lifestyle work share one thread: understand the problem, remove friction and keep refining until the product genuinely helps.
There has to be a better way.
Most projects began in classrooms, coaching sessions, community clubs and everyday systems that felt harder than they needed to be — not in a boardroom brief.
One question became a sketch, a sketch became a screen, a screen became a working product. Then audits, rewrites, mistakes and better questions.
Renegade Studio grew one problem, one decision and one working solution at a time.
Built through effort, not shortcuts.
The past year has involved hundreds of hours spent learning, building, testing and improving — reworking features that were unclear, simplifying products that drifted, parking ideas until the timing was right.
That process shaped how the studio works:
- listen carefully
- understand the real problem
- build honestly
- test what works
- improve what does not
- keep going until the result feels right
The same care, applied to your project.
The standard from our own products is the standard we bring to client work: hard questions before design, honesty when an idea needs changing, and staying with the product beyond the first version.
We are not interested in something that only looks finished. We want software people can rely on in real use.
Different projects. Shared principles.
ClassStrand, VolleyCore, Golf Academy, Athletic Brand and the wider portfolio serve different people. The sector may change. The standard does not.
- Clarity over complexity
- Evidence before assumption
- Trust through careful design
- Practical usefulness
- Continuous improvement
Graeme Henry
Renegade Studio is led by Graeme Henry — teacher, coach, club builder and product creator based in Scotland. Education products grow from classroom reality. Sport products grow from coaching and competition. Service platforms begin with the people expected to use them.
There was no traditional route into product development. The studio was built through curiosity, persistence and learning by doing.
